Bank of England Base Rate Increase

Last week the Bank of England increased the base rate from 0.5% to 0.75%.  The last increase seen was in November 2017 when it increased from 0.25% to 0.5%.   .

IPT to Increase again to 12% in June 2017

Today, Philip Hammond in his first Autumn Statement as Chancellor has advised IPT (Insurance Premium Tax) will rise again to 12% in June 2017. IPT increased on 1st November 2015 from 6% to 9.5% and on 1st October 2016 increased again to 10%.
